Features Overview

Certified in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania SP2 (School of Social Policy and Practice)

The Catalyst Fellowship brought me back to my hometown of Chicago after a decade of higher education, and allowed me to merge my legal expertise with my commitment to racial and gender justice. This fellowship not only solidified my commitment to public interest law but also demonstrated the unique role that lawyers can play in supporting investigative reporting and community advocacy.

Working with the Invisible Institute, a nonprofit newsroom rooted in Woodlawn, I contributed critical work supporting police accountability and amplifying the voices of those most affected by abuses of power. My legal work supported their investigative journalism, which exposes human rights violations by the Chicago Police Department.
